They're really cool, even if the economic fortress upgrades other than the Burning Forges aren't able to reach the potential they could've had.
Get a couple of units and have them harass the enemy, and in the meantime, accumulate enough resources to rush siege weaponry or a hero to deal the final blow. Their archers and pikemen are so good that you never really need normal Uruk swordsmen. Isengard is really good at taking out enemies almost instantly. I underestimated Isengard in my original ranking.
